Door Engineering’s vertical lift door systems can be fabricated
with multiple sections up to 100 feet or more in width and virtually
any height.
Construction
The door sections are custom fabricated from structural steel shapes and cold
formed steel girts and can be either factory sheeted with 16-gauge minimum flat
sheeting or with a wide variety of materials in the field.
Operation
Vertical Lift Doors are counterweight operated with either
an overhead or floor mounted drive unit. A manual disconnect
allows the doors to be operated manually in case of a power
failure.
Applications
Vertical lift doors are well suited for heavy-duty applications
with limited side room, including factories, mining operations,
vehicle maintenance facilities, aircraft hangars, power plants,
swimming pool dividers, auditoriums, convention centers,
boat dry docks, and secure entrances for banks or federal
reserves.
