Job Description:

Door Engineering and Manufacturing, LLC, a dynamic and growing industrial door manufacturer, is seeking a motivated/experienced Mechanical Engineer. This position will be responsible for assuring the quality of mechanical designs, which must meet contractual, budgetary, and schedule requirements, while considering fabrication costs, manufacturability, modularization of components, ease of product installation/use and maintainability. Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, 7+ years experience in metals design/fabrication, computer literacy and a strong CAD engineering background required (SolidWorks preferred). Successful candidate will have background in the design of custom & standardized large sheet metal and structural steel products and weldments, material & component selection, fabrication tolerancing and feature control. Successful candidate should also have a proven ability to meet deadlines & fulfill commitments, be technically astute and capable of successfully guiding the engineered solution process with experience in electrical control applications, implementing the application of new technologies, creative/analytical problem solving, effective verbal/written communications
and working in a team environment.
